Terms and conditions

These terms cover your use of Boclar, the booking and business-management software for appointment businesses, and the booking page your clients use.

Last updated: October 14, 2026Effective: October 14, 2026

In plain words

  • You need an account for your business. The owner is responsible for the team logins they create.
  • Independent costs nothing. Team and Multi-Location bill monthly or yearly, and you can change or cancel any time in Settings › Plan & billing.
  • You own your business data and your clients’ data. We process it to run Boclar for you.
  • Payments you take from your clients are between you and them. Card payments go through Stripe.
  • WhatsApp, Stripe and Google Calendar have their own terms, which also apply when you connect them.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Boclar is provided by Boclar LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company (“Boclar”, “we”). These terms are an agreement between us and the business that creates a Boclar account (“you”). By creating an account or using Boclar, you agree to them.

Boclar has two parts: the admin app your team uses, and the booking page your clients use to book, cancel and reschedule. Your clients use the booking page under your policies, and under our privacy policy.

2. Your account and your team

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to act for your business.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You can sign in with a password, or with Google or Apple.
  • The owner decides who on the team gets a login and what each one can do, and is responsible for what happens under those logins.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Plans, billing and credits

  • Boclar offers an Independent plan and two paid plans, Team and Multi-Location. What each plan includes is shown on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans bill monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Review your selected plan and total before paying. Taxes may apply.
  • SMS and email credits are bought in any amount at the prices on the pricing page, with optional auto top-up. What an SMS costs depends on the country it goes to. Credits never expire, including the ones your plan includes.
  • Add-ons, such as WhatsApp reminders and extra locations, are billed with your plan, at the prices on the pricing page.
  • You can change or cancel your plan any time in Settings › Plan & billing. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Independent. Refunds: your first paid month can be refunded if you ask within 30 days of that payment, by writing to our support email (under Contact, below). Later payments, and unused time on a cancelled plan, aren’t refunded.
  • We will tell you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to you.

4. Connected services

Some features use services run by other companies. When you connect them, their terms apply too:

  • Stripe processes card payments from your clients through Stripe Connect, and your subscription billing. Stripe’s own fees apply. Boclar never stores card numbers.
  • WhatsApp reminders are sent through Meta.
  • Google Calendar sync connects to your business’s Google account.

We are not responsible for those services, but we work to keep each connection working and tell you when one needs attention.

5. Payments from your clients

When you take a payment in Boclar, you are the seller and your client pays you. Boclar provides the tools to record and process the payment. Refunds, disputes and receipts are between you and your client.

Boclar does not calculate or file taxes on your sales. You are responsible for the taxes that apply to your business.

6. Your data and your clients’ data

  • You keep all rights to the content and data you put into Boclar, including your clients’ details.
  • You give us permission to store and process that data only to provide Boclar to you, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for having the right to collect your clients’ data, and for their consent where the law requires it, for example before sending marketing. Boclar records marketing consent on each client.
  • If we learn of a security incident that affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay and help you meet any duty you have to tell your clients.
  • You can export your data at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Boclar to:

  • send messages people did not agree to receive, or spam through reminders, SMS or WhatsApp
  • store or share unlawful content, or data you have no right to hold
  • try to get around the privacy lock, roles or other security controls
  • copy, resell, reverse engineer or overload the service

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to fix it.

8. Boclar’s software

Boclar, its software, its design and its brand belong to Boclar LLC. While your account is open, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Boclar for your business under these terms.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Boclar, with no obligation to you.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Boclar available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be free of interruptions. We improve Boclar over time and may change or remove features. If a change removes a feature from a paid plan, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead.

10. Ending your account

You can cancel your plan any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, write to us. Before you go, export anything you want to keep. After your account closes, we delete your data or anonymise it, except what the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records.

11. Liability

Boclar is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and correct, but we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and, to the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about it. To the extent the law allows, neither of us is responsible to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim about Boclar is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to cover our losses from claims others make against us, including your clients, that come from your breach of these terms or of the law, for example collecting data you had no right to collect. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

12. Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and of the United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. Where the law of the country your business is in gives you protections that an agreement can’t take away, those protections still apply. We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies.

13. General terms

  • These terms, with the privacy policy and the cookie policy, are the whole agreement between us about Boclar. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your account to someone else without our written OK. We may transfer these terms if Boclar is sold or reorganised, and we will tell you.
  • Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, such as internet or provider outages, natural disasters or government action.
  • We send notices to the account owner’s email or in the app. You can send notices to the contact details below.
  • What these terms say about payments, your data, liability, governing law and these general terms still applies after your account closes.
